Shipping Policy

Q: Do you ship your whoopie pies fresh?

A: Yes, we always ship fresh baked whoopie pies!  We will never hold your boxed whoopie pies in our bakery for extended periods of time.

Q: What is your shipping schedule?

A: Orders placed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday prior to 12:00 pm Noon ET are shipped the same day and sent FedEx 2 Day Express.

If your order is placed after noon ET on Monday or Tuesday it will be shipped the following morning.

Orders placed with our FedEx 2 Day Express option after 12:00 pm Noon ET on Wednesday, Thursday – Sunday will be baked and shipped the following Monday.

Q: Do you offer overnight or Saturday delivery?

A:  If you’d like overnight or Saturday delivery please contact us at (877 TICO LUV) to request.

Please note there is an additional charge for these deliveries, and perishable items can’t be delivered on Sunday, Monday or FedEx recognized holidays*.

*New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Q: How much does it cost for shipping?

A: Shipping charges depend on the end destination. To determine shipping charges for boxes sent via FedEx 2 Day Express, please enter your destination zip code at checkout.

Q: Where do you ship your whoopie pies?

A: Currently we ship everywhere in the United States., including Alaska and Hawaii, but are currently unable to deliver to FPOs or APOs.

Q: How will I know when you’ve shipped my order?

A: Once your order has been baked and shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a Fed Ex tracking number. The link will direct you to the FedEx website to track its end destination journey.

Please note:  it can sometimes take FedEx up to 12 hours to generate that tracking information.

Q: How will I know when my delivery has arrived?

A: You’ll receive a delivery email from us confirmed that FedEx has delivered your whoopie pies.

Please be advised that because FedEx is a third party shipping method we’re not able to guarantee arrival dates and times.  There are some delays that are out of our control so if you’re ordering for special occasions we recommend choosing an arrival date 1-2 days early.  For example, for weekend events we recommend a Thursday arrival so you can be worry-free!

Q: Do I need to sign for the FedEx package upon delivery?

A: FedEx doesn’t require a signature for our packages, but please remember we are sending you fresh baked goods.  They are best when they aren’t left in extreme cold or heat in your mailbox, so be aware of weather conditions and take them into consideration.

We recommend for this reason as well that if possible you should notify your gift recipient (if this is a gift) of their sweet surprise before the date of delivery if you suspect they’ll leave it in the mailbox for an extended period of time.

Q: Do you ship to schools and hospitals?

A: Yes, we do ship to school campuses and hospitals. In fact, we ship a lot of whoopie pies to these location types because they make such great gifts!  We do however recommend you verify the accurate delivery guidelines, address formats, and internal delivery procedures with the institutions directly before ordering with us.

Schools and hospitals have their own systems for handling incoming packages and your gift may be held for an extended period of time in a mail room or shipping room if you don’t ensure the correct format is used.
